I’ve worked in the Geotechnical Construction field for most of my adult life. This means that I travel for work… a lot. All the time, really. I basically don’t live at home. Sure it has it’s challenges, but also benefits. I’ve been able to see many new places and meet many new people I wouldn’t have otherwise. I love what I do and I love many of the people I’m fortunate enough to work with.
More than that I love games. Video games are at the top of the list but I’m not adverse to trying many games of the tabletop variety. I’m blessed with a wonderful wife who also enjoys gaming and we’re able to spend time together even while physically apart through the magic of the internet. Some of our favorite meeting places are and have been, in no particular order, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, and Divinity: Original Sin.
My favorite games are open-ended, with lots of story, character development, and strategy, but I’d like to think I’m open to trying any game once. Variety is the spice of life!
I love to laugh and count my sense of humor among my most valuable personal qualities.
This is a place where I come to share my thoughts about… well anything, really. It’ll mostly be about video games, sprinkled with a bit of random thoughts about life in general as I travel through the world on my grand adventure. Feel free to stop by and see what I’m up to or thinking about. Discussion is always welcome.
Play nice, everyone!
